The Velocity V series shoe is being offered with the durable Vibram outsole. The Velocity V series shoe is produced for players who want comfort and support with performance features from their footwear product. The knit upper allows for maximum breathability. while the wide toe box ensures a comfortable playing experience on the court. The Velocity V series is designed for multi-surface playing surfaces.
What makes Tyrol Pickleball Shoes different from tennis shoes? Both shoes are designed for court play, and both are suitable for both sports. Both products are designed for lateral stability, and both are much better than a running shoe, which is designed predominantly for forward action movement only. Tyrol has made specific changes to their shoe designed explicitly for pickleball by adding more width and height in the toe box to prevent bruised toes a common injury in pickleball. The added depth in their design also provides for the insert of custom orthotics, which are sometimes challenging to fit in shoes with shallow toe boxes in many shoes designed for tennis. They also were attentive to ensuring a stable playing platform that provides traction and torsional support to prevent rolling your ankle in the quick side to side movement of pickleball.

Technologies
- High-Durability Vibram® Outsole: Vibram® is the world leader in rubber outsole manufacturing and we have collaborated with them on Tyrol's outsole design. They have formulated an X Abrade compound specific to use on painted silica grit treated pickleball courts to ensure performance grip, stability, and durability.
- Lightweight Material: Tyrol's removable insole is EVA base with Nylex top. EVA is a lightweight cushioning material. The insole has holes in the arch area to allow for breathability and flow-through ventilation.
- Heel Stabilizer: The heel stabilizer is designed to give lateral stability to the player. Tyrol uses a sculpted last during the construction of their shoes that creates a curved heel. This curved heel sets your foot snuggly into the back of the shoe and provides correct alignment to prevent an ankle rollover.
- Power Clip: The Power Clip is the name for the rubber toe bumper that moves up to the medial side of the shoe to add support for stepping into your shot. It also gives toe draggers more support at the toe and medial side of the shoe.
- Complete Aeration System: Tyrol designed a flow-through cooling system thats allows air movement and ventilation through the insole, midsole and outsole of the shoe.
- Torsion Control Shank: Tyrol built a torsion control shank to provide lateral stability and support to prevent rolling an ankle in the quick side to side movement of pickleball.
- Generously Wide Toe Box: The kinetic movement in pickleball is a start and stop forward action sport with quick lateral short step movement. For this reason, Tyrol has used a wide toe box both in width and height to prevent toe injury that is prevalent in the sport.

- Simple Returns: No need to call us or request a return authorization number. Just send your items back using any trackable shipping method, and hold on to the tracking number. We don’t charge restocking fees!
- Fast Processing: We’ll process your return or exchange within 3-5 business once we receive it. If we have any questions, we’ll reach out to you directly.
- For the sake of expediency: We invite you to send your item in as a return and place a new order for your desired items. This results in you getting your gear you want quicker! We are happy to offer returns + reorders as well as exchanges. Whichever suits you better
You can return any equipment within 30 days of receiving your order, (For the Holiday Season the return period is extended to 1/31/25) as long as it meets our return requirements/conditions (See below). Just pack the item(s) along with a copy of your invoice or a note with your name, address, phone number, and how you’d like us to process the return (refund or exchange).
We’ll refund you the full cost of the item, minus any original shipping charges and any upgrades (e.g., regripping, protection tape). If you received free items with your purchase, these must also be returned, or you will be charged for them.
Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping. We accept FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Please ship your item using a trackable shipping method (and save your tracking number). PickleballGalaxy is not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping back to us.
If you do not have access to an economical ship method; please reach out to us at [email protected]. We may be able to provide a shipping label and deduct the cost from your return.
For exchanges, the value of the returned item(s) will be applied toward your new purchase, and you’ll just need to cover the shipping for the new item.
PickleballGalaxy's Shoe Return Policy
We want you to love your new shoes! To ensure a smooth return process, please follow these guidelines:
- Original Condition: Shoes must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. THAT INCLUDES:
- All original tags attached
- Packaging, including boxes and any protective materials
- Accessories, such as extra laces or insoles, if included with your purchase
- Indoor Try-On: You’re welcome to try your shoes on indoors! To maintain their condition:
- Please only wear them on a clean, dry surface
- Avoid any outdoor use or exposure to dirt, moisture, or harsh conditions
- Signs of Use: For Shoes to qualify for a return:
- Shoes must show no visible signs of wear or damage. This includes scuff marks, creases, or any alteration to the shoe
- Any footwear that appears to have been worn outside or shows signs of use will be denied return.
- Secure Packaging: Please package the shoes securely in their original box. Then, place that box inside a sturdy shipping box to protect it during transit. This helps prevent damage and ensures the shoes remain in pristine condition for resale.
- Avoid Direct Labeling: We kindly ask that you do not tape, write on, or place shipping labels directly on the original shoe box. This helps us maintain the quality of the box for future customers.
- Surcharge for Improper Packaging: If the original shoe box is used as the outer shipping box, a surcharge of [10%] will be applied. This surcharge will be deducted from your refund.
- Return Process: Once you’ve packaged the shoes appropriately, include a copy of your receipt or order confirmation inside the shipping box to expedite the return process.
- Return Shipping Costs: If your return is denied due to signs of use, the shoes will be shipped back to you at your expense.
- Refund Processing: Once we receive your returned shoes and verify their condition, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within [4] business days.
