I have bought about 10 paddles over the last year. I own the Power and Control from Gearbox. I have gone through an evolution. I liked Control from the start but then thought that I needed more Power and Pop and switched to playing with Power. Power certainly gave me greater potential to drive the ball from the baseline but I could not control the ball from mid-court to the Kitchen if I tried to drive the ball. I have switched back to Control Having played with these paddles for now 6 months I am realizing that though Control is certainly slightly less powerful it is powerful enough and on balance I am getting a lot more control on my mid-court to kitchen shots including dinks, etc. So, I think I am going to stick with the Control. I find the Gearbox paddles to be better than Selkirk. I am thinking of trying the fusion that promises to combine power and control. We shall see.

I have all 4 Gearbox’s - Power elongated & fusion and Control elongated & fusion. The elongated’s are my favorite - I don’t notice a ton of difference between the control or the power but I’d have to say that the control does have power. It’s definitely my favorite paddle to play with now & that’s saying something after buying 50-60 some paddles.

After 7 days of competitive play, this paddle is now exceeding my expectations. I will note however that the paddle requires a *break-in period* to 'open it up'. On the second day of using it, I had convinced myself that the Pro Control was not for me. Then something happened. On day 3, I started making soft shots I was never capable of making before. Things got better and better from there. My drive shots started sailing lower over the net by just a couple of inches. Short hop returns were also amazing. Blocks and resets... better. Almost the entire surface of the paddle is one big, sweet spot. And when I want power, this paddle delivers perfectly with speed and spin. My serves are noticeably more challenging to my opponents. Overall... in my opinion after 7 days of experience, this is a GREAT paddle that delivers on both CONTROL and POWER and is worth every penny of its hefty price tag!

I've had the GB Pro Power Elongated for a week now and love it. It has power galore and it's been surprisingly good when I need to reset shots. The power makes it easy on resets because the ball just jumps off the face with no effort on my part. I knew it would be a monster on power shots and it doesn't disappoint. It's the reset capability that has me most impressed with it. Love it and I've tried them all: Diadem Warrior, Diadem 18K Power, Selkirk Project 002, Selkirk Invikta Vanguard, Engage MX, Joola CFS 16, Gearbox CX5, PROKENNEX Black Ace, Prodrive Power.

- Simple Returns: No need to call us or request a return authorization number. Just send your items back using any trackable shipping method, and hold on to the tracking number. We don’t charge restocking fees!

You can return any equipment within 30 days of receiving your order, (For the Holiday Season the return period is extended to 1/31/25) as long as it meets our return requirements/conditions (See below). Just pack the item(s) along with a copy of your invoice or a note with your name, address, phone number, and how you’d like us to process the return (refund or exchange).
We’ll refund you the full cost of the item, minus any original shipping charges and any upgrades (e.g., regripping, protection tape). If you received free items with your purchase, these must also be returned, or you will be charged for them.

We know how important it is to find the perfect paddle! That’s why we offer a 30-day return window. If your paddle doesn’t meet your needs or feel just right, you can easily send it back for a refund or exchange—no need to call ahead.
***This return period allows you to enjoy using the paddle after purchase, but it’s NOT meant for trying out multiple options with the intent to return. If you're interested in exploring different/multiple paddles, we kindly ask you to check out our Demo Program . We want to ensure a fair process, so please note that we may deny returns in cases of policy misuse, including:
- Purchasing multiple paddles and returning most or all of them used
- Excessive returns of used paddles within a 12-month period
- Significant wear or damage within the 30-day period
- Returning paddles with signs of misuse: Submitting returns that show evidence of being used inappropriately or for unintended purposes
