I purchased the GX5 and it has a great feel, love the control. Initially the spin was outstanding but after playing about 3 or 4 games I noticed a decrease in the spin. I would say that the spin decreased by about 20%. I am a little disappointed with the reduction of the spin. Nevertheless, I do recommend this paddle if you want to up your control game.

I tried a bunch of different high end paddles from different brands and the GX5 was by far my favorite. It has a great feel, love the control and just all around feels good to play with. There is a lot of bounce to it, so it might take a little getting used to, but I love playing with this paddle. I have small hands and had originally ordered the 3 5/8 grip, but it was way to small for even me. I got the 3 15/16 size grip and it is perfect size and feel. Highly recommend this paddle if you want to up your game.

Great paddle after using 4 other brands. Got small grip for easy hand maneuvers, but 8.5 ounces for power stroke. Love the no plastic edge frames noted on other paddles. Definitely has improved my game. Other players have tried it and now going to purchase. Well worth the money if you’re a serious player like me 3-4 times a week.

The one piece graphite design makes the paddle feel natural in my hand. The control style seems to really grip the ball. I love the edge less style - it seems to give me a larger surface area. Since I got mine, four others in our group have also switched gearbox paddles within one month!

I tried out 4 Gearbox demos and decided the GX5 7.8 oz was the best for me. Excellent touch and power. I custom ordered a Python grip and still received it in 2 days with free shipping. I would recommend using a demo program before buying. Most of my friends (including 5.0+ "pros")have the elongated GX6, but I prefer a traditional wider paddle.
My 2nd time ordering from Pickleball Galaxy and I'm 100% satisfied.

So far my "Goldilocks" paddle. I've tried quite a few high end paddles and so far this is the best considering it's not the priciest. - Simple Returns: No need to call us or request a return authorization number. Just send your items back using any trackable shipping method, and hold on to the tracking number. We don’t charge restocking fees!

You can return any equipment within 30 days of receiving your order, (For the Holiday Season the return period is extended to 1/31/25) as long as it meets our return requirements/conditions (See below). If you're interested in exploring different/multiple paddles, we kindly ask you to check out our Demo Program . - Purchasing multiple paddles and returning most or all of them used
